"There are, monks, these five faculties.
Which five?
The faith faculty, etc.
the wisdom faculty.
And where, monks, should the faith faculty be seen?
In the four factors of stream-entry -
here the faith faculty should be seen.
And where, monks, should the energy faculty be seen?
In the four right strivings -
here the energy faculty should be seen.
And where, monks, should the mindfulness faculty be seen?
In the four establishments of mindfulness -
here the mindfulness faculty should be seen.
And where, monks, should the concentration faculty be seen?
In the four meditative absorptions -
here the concentration faculty should be seen.
And where, monks, should the wisdom faculty be seen?
In the four noble truths -
here the wisdom faculty should be seen.
These, monks, are the five faculties."
