With the knowledge of others' mental states they know the consciousness of one possessing consciousness with fixed course of the wrong path. Aggregates with fixed course of the wrong path are a condition by way of object condition for the knowledge of others' mental states, for the knowledge of recollecting past lives, for the knowledge of rebirth according to beings' actions, for the knowledge of future events, for adverting. A mental state with fixed course of the right path is a condition for an unfixed state by way of object condition - noble ones, having emerged from the path, review the path. With the knowledge of others' mental states they know the consciousness of one possessing consciousness with fixed course of the right path. Aggregates with fixed course of the right path are a condition by way of object condition for the knowledge of others' mental states, for the knowledge of recollecting past lives, for the knowledge of future events, for adverting. An unfixed state is a condition for an unfixed state by way of object condition - having given a gift, having taken upon oneself morality, having performed the Observance practice, one reviews that; one reviews what was well practised before; having emerged from meditative absorption, one reviews the meditative absorption; noble ones review fruition, review Nibbāna; Nibbāna is a condition by way of object condition for change-of-lineage, for cleansing, for fruition, for adverting. Noble ones review the unfixed abandoned defilements, they review the suppressed defilements. They know the defilements previously indulged in. The eye... etc. the sense-base... they see with insight the unfixed aggregates as impermanent, as suffering, as non-self, enjoy them, delight in them; referring to that, unfixed lust arises... etc. Displeasure arises. One sees materiality with the divine eye, hears sound with the divine ear element, with the knowledge of others' mental states knows the consciousness of one possessing unfixed consciousness; the plane of infinite space is a condition for the plane of infinite consciousness... etc. the plane of nothingness is a condition by way of object condition for the plane of neither-perception-nor-non-perception. The visible form sense base is a condition by way of object condition for eye-consciousness... etc. the touch sense base is a condition by way of object condition for body-consciousness. Unfixed aggregates are a condition by way of object condition for the knowledge of various kinds of supernormal power, for the knowledge of others' mental states, for the knowledge of recollecting past lives, for the knowledge of rebirth according to beings' actions, for the knowledge of future events, for adverting. An unfixed state is a condition for a mental state with fixed course of the wrong path by way of object condition - the material life faculty is a condition for the action of matricide... for the action of patricide... for the action of killing a Worthy One... is a condition by way of object condition for the action of drawing blood. Whatever sense-base, for one fondling it, aggregates with fixed course of the wrong path arise, that sense-base is a condition by way of object condition for the aggregates with fixed course of the wrong path. An unfixed state is a condition for a mental state with fixed course of the right path by way of object condition - Nibbāna is a condition by way of object condition for the path. (3)
