Predominance condition

78. A state that is both mental defilement and subject to defilement is a condition for a state that is both mental defilement and subject to defilement by way of predominance condition - object predominance... three.

A state that is subject to defilement but not mental defilement is a condition for a state that is subject to defilement but not mental defilement by way of predominance condition - object predominance, connascent predominance. Object predominance - giving... etc. morality... etc. the Observance practice... etc. what was well practised before... etc. having emerged from meditative absorption, having given weight to the meditative absorption, one reviews; learners, having given weight to the change-of-lineage, review; having given weight to the cleansing, they review; the eye... etc. having given weight to the sense-base, the aggregates that are subject to defilement but not mental defilement, aggregates that are subject to defilement but not mental defilement arise. Connascent predominance - subject to defilement but not mental defilement predominance is a condition by way of predominance condition for associated aggregates and for consciousness-originated materiality. Proximity condition and so on

79. A state that is both mental defilement and subject to defilement is a condition for a state that is both mental defilement and subject to defilement by way of proximity condition, etc. Three (similar to the mental defilement dyad).

A state that is subject to defilement but not mental defilement is a condition for a state that is subject to defilement but not mental defilement by way of proximity condition - the former and former aggregates that are subject to defilement but not mental defilements are a condition for the latter and latter aggregates that are subject to defilement but not mental defilements by way of proximity condition; Conformity for change-of-lineage, etc. conformity for cleansing, etc. adverting is a condition for aggregates that are subject to defilement but not mental defilements by way of proximity condition.
