Which three?
Lust is barrenness, hate is barrenness, delusion is barrenness -
these, monks, are the three barrennesses.
For the direct knowledge, full understanding, utter elimination, and abandoning of these three barrennesses, monks, etc.
this noble eightfold path is to be developed."
