At Sāvatthī.
Standing to one side, Kassapa the young god spoke this verse in the presence of the Blessed One:
"A monk should be a meditator with liberated mind,
If he wishes for the attainment of the heart;
Having known the rise and fall of the world,
Of good mind, independent - that is his benefit."
