"Monks, without abandoning six qualities, one is incapable of realising arahantship.
Which six?
Sloth, torpor, restlessness, remorse, faithlessness, negligence -
monks, without abandoning these six qualities, one is incapable of realising arahantship.
"Monks, by abandoning six qualities, one is capable of realising arahantship. Which six? Sloth, torpor, restlessness, remorse, faithlessness, negligence - monks, by abandoning these six qualities, one is capable of realising arahantship." The second.
